Ilishevsky District (Russian: Или́шевский райо́н; Bashkir: Илеш районы) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the fifty-four in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia. It is located in the northwestern part of the republic and borders with Krasnokamsky District in the north, Dyurtyulinsky District in the east, Chekmagushevsky District in the southeast and south, Bakalinsky District in the southwest, and the Republic of Tatarstan in the west. The area of the district is 1,973.55 square kilometers (761.99 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Verkhneyarkeyevo. District's population: 34,649 (2010 Census preliminary results); 36,281 (2002 Census); 36,046 (1989 Census). Population of Verkhneyarkeyevo accounts for 25.7% of the district's population.

The district was established in 1935.
